Mirror Sheet
Blackburns mirror sheet is available in almost all product variants
including our thermoplastic range, Blackburns aluminium composite
(BCP), acrylic and polycarbonate as well as stainless steel and the Steel
Color
®
range (see page 124). Please note BCP mirror sheet is only
available in silver and gold finishes suitable for interior applications.
The thermoplastic range is typically supplied as silver mirror in 3mm
thickness, with acrylic and polycarbonate products also available up
to 6mm thick, in gold and other colours as required.
With the advantage of being half the weight of plate glass mirror and
shatter resistant, thermoplastic mirror sheets offer all the benefits of
mirror without the potential risk of breakages.
Stainless steel mirror sheet is available in all grades and thicknesses
from 0.8mm to 3mm. The Steel Color

Super Mirror has a flawless,
polished surface to deliver true mirror reflectivity (Steel Color

available on request).
APPLICATIONS
Thermoplastic mirror is suitable for different environments where
there is a high risk of potential damage or when the product is to
be worked into a fabricated display or signage installation.
Steel Color
®
mirror is an equally versatile product suitable for a
diverse range of applications where the use of plate glass mirror
would typically be restricted due to the potential risk of breakages.
Used in food preparation areas and commonly seen in passenger
lifts, different Steel Color
®
mirror finishes also have a number of
precedents as a façade for contemporary buildings.
