Marine Glazing
Our proprietary range of cast acrylic neutral tints, with varying levels of light
transmission, have been engineered for use as marine glazing in hatches and
portlights. Available in all the relevant thicknesses, custom colour matches can also be
accommodated to fit within an existing range.
Our dark grey acrylic sheet, with low light transmission and high gloss, reflective
surface, is also available to create a blackout, tinted window appearance.
Exceptional performance and easy installation
Recognised as a safety glazing material, meeting the same standard as toughened and
laminated glass, but at half the weight, cast acrylic is also UV stable and has extreme
weather resistance making it ideal for marine glazing with protection against all the
elements, exceptional performance and easy installation.
Available as standard in a wide range of sheet sizes for optimum yield. Blackburns can
also provide a conversion service to supply the product in any size as required, with
square or radiused corners.
